I know I have that newsletter sign up form on the left hand side of the page (look to the lower left). We’ve had it for months and for months it’s been on the TO-DO list. You’re probably wondering if you missed our first issue.

NOPE! You didn’t miss it. We haven’t sent out our first issue yet. We’ve been very very busy over here buried in packing tape, envelopes/boxes and fabric, watching TV and reading some vampire books so the newsletter was put on the back burner.

Have no fear, we are slowly laying out plans to expand the team and you will be receiving the very first issue of our newsletter in 2010 — how’s THAT for planning?! Planning a whole month in advance. HAHA.

We’re on Twitter as well but think conversation goes very quickly on that thing. We prefer Facebook since we can talk about Edward Cullen and Glee as much as we like. LOL!

So if you were wondering where the newsletter is or why you haven’t received it — it’s because we haven’t had much time to draft one up, make it look nice and send it out. But in 2010 we promise you’ll see one in an inbox near you!

Oh it has been a busy busy October and it is going to get even busier in November.

We said Amy Butler’s LOVE collection (entire collection will be back in November as we were sending out tons of fabric all over Canada and Europe — a bit to the US –  and are running low on some prints!) would be the last one to come in for this year but we have found some time (and space) to bring in a few other collections.

So now we’ve come up with a way for our customers to do just that!

We are offering 5 – 15 % off on all purchases that are $50 or more (in any combination).

You get to mix and match your fabrics, choose from a variety of designers AND you get free shipping on top of the discount. Unfortunately free shipping is only for customers in the US and Canada.

What if the fabrics you want are on sale? Well you can purchase those too! You’ll be able to get either the discount off the regular price or the sale price (whichever is lower).

Wow! Never did we expect to go through so much fabric within 2 days of receiving Amy Butler’s Love Collection.

We have spent 10 hours over 2 days buried in envelopes, boxes and packing tape . I had to enlist the help of my husband and Pink Panda (she’s 17 months old and was in charge of making sure we had enough packing tape — ok I didn’t appoint her that task but I assume that’s what she was doing when she was stacking and restacking rolls of tape into a tower).

 The Amy Butler Love stock we have on hand right now is going quickly but have no fear… we will be getting the entire collection in early November!

So if you don’t like what you see now and are waiting for the other prints, don’t worry – they’ll ALL be in stock soon (including Memento in Burgundy which is my personal favourite — I’d love to have a shirt made with this! Baby steps. First I need a new sewing machine).
