It’s been a trying few days over here but the tooth that was causing havoc has finally popped out and all is back to normal.
The Pink Panda and I have been able to get out quite a bit for a few playdates and walks in the park. We are loving the summer weather — it has finally arrived where we are. We hope you are getting outside too!
As always, things have been busy and there are lots in the works for this store. New lines of fabric coming up shortly — a Coming Soon page will be built eventually so you can see what’s coming to the online shelves, contests being created and a few interviews being lined up to introduce you all to some great designers. If you’d like to be the first to know what’s new, make sure you sign up for The Bolt Newsletter (bottom left hand corner).
And we know what it’s like to have emails clogging up our inbox so we promise we won’t be sending you newsletters weekly (or sharing your address with anyone).
It’s summer afterall — who wants to read emails? I will because my BlackBerry is attached to my hand 24-7!
Now back to the reason why I wanted to post today. I have tons of fabric scraps and never know what to do with them. So I started surfing and found these — a few tutorials on how to put your fabric scraps / wonky cuts to good use:
1. Business Card Keeper by Amy Butler
2. Fabric Calendar by i heart linen
3. Pillow Case Bag by Martha Stewart
4. Offset Square Wrist Pincushion by PlanetJune
If you make any of these, send me a photo! Now if I could only find time to make these things myself. Think I can get one of them done before Pink Panda gets her next tooth? We’ll see!

I love Quiltville for scrappy inspiration.
thanks for the fab tutorials!
